Skip reaches Milestone

The Mudrats B3 skip has added another feather to his cap recently which has made season 14/15 one to remember which has included receiving a baggy blue for 100 Mudrat games and scoring a crowd pleasing 100 against Glendale Edgeworth Old Boys, however his latest achievement tops the list.
After starting out his innings patiently, gaps in the field started to appear in recent weeks which enticed the crowd pleaser shots however he remained focused on the run chase at hand. His batting partner at the other end was tiring after watching all of these scoring opportunities pass by. That was until the 33rd over arrived.
With a quick advance down the wicket, the skip drops to one knee and plays a delicate reverse sweep and calls for a quick single which has completely caught his batting partner off guard as she was not expecting such a dazzling shot on this occasion. His “out of the box” shot was a big crowd pleaser and left his partner stunned at what she had just experienced.
A call of yes was made as she scurried through to accept the run proposal. This play will go down as one of the Skips finest moments with “Ringo” being a prized piece of memorabilia that marks this batting partnership.
They can’t wait to catch up with the Mudrat family for a celebratory drink soon.
